I DID NOT DO THE LINEART. I TAKE NO CREDIT FOR THE LINEART. I do, however, take all credit for the coloring -- it's my baby The lineart was done by Tiffalei of Gaiaonline, where I got this lineart to color in the lineart jam section, where people are allowed to do so. I didn't steal this. I hope this is a long enough disclaimer.
I named it japanese angel, because...well, just from the outfit and the way it looks, it looks like japanese something to me, no offense meant to anyone. Angel because of the wings. I'm so creative with titles.
Program: Photoshop Elements 2.0
Tool: Graphire Tablet (which broke halfway through! Kinda. Two buttons no longer work.)
Time: 7-10 hours
I'm proud of this. Really proud. And I've finally established an art style -- high, high contrast, small strokes that are blurred half way, and emphasis on light and shadow.
The sword is messed up. I completely mutilated the thing. I am, however, very proud of the work I did on the clothing -- it's the first time I've done cloth this well, and I love it.
I'm looking to improve -- this is the very best I have to offer, and I hope someone could help me get better, pointing out anything I obviously did wrong, color-wise. I guess I'm just a colorist -- my lineart sucks.
